OK, let me put this as the producers want me to understand. American servicemen are going to vote almost 9 to 1 for the Democrats!
Hmm! Me thinks me smell a bias-rat! :scrutiny:
From the few unit patches I noticed I did see that for the most part these troops were National Guard or...
Price wise you could look for a Mossberg 500 or a Remington 870, both are good choices for a 'all purpose' shotty.
Look around for a combo type for sale...slug barrel and bird barrel [with screw in chokes]. Both gun's can be found with factory or after market turkey barrel.
Add ons that are...
You can hit with slugs pretty well out around 50-75 yds with a bead sight. Slug sights [rifle type] are better but with a bit of practice you can hit at 100 with a bead.
Get a bunch of boxes of slugs and some sheets of cardboard or paper and just go out and shoot offhand at different ranges...
OK, Heres my AD/ND story...
Aug. 2000 I was in the Army National Guard on a training deployment in Idaho.
As the Squad Leader most of the men would [naturally] come to me with a problem.
One of my PFC's brought up the reciever to the M2 .50cal, when he was attempting to dissamble it prior to...
Little known, but covered by defariswheel was "The Day Before Midnight." One very exciting book [a bit far fetched but...]I could barely put it down.
I still think "Dirty White Boy's" would be a fantastic movie...
I don't know, Havana kinda lost me.
Armed Bear, I see where you are coming from. My point is that if you are two hours from home and realize that the ammo is home on the kitchen table[ ok that never happened!:o] can you just go to the corner hardware and get ammo [.308 Marlin ]. I doubt it.
I once went hunting with a SWEET .300...
Winchestor 88 came in .243 .308 and I think 7mm08.
I like the new Marlin .308 but it has a one brand [Hornady]manufacture cartridge.
I would love a .308 [Win]caliber lever rifle, but I think since that the major companys have a wide variety of rifles across the board they don't feel the need...
Nice job on all the paint-jobs folks! Aloharover your AR looks good, I kinda like the freehand type of look.
I too used the Krylon paint, made my own stencels and used a Testors [model paint] dull coat to finish off the camo. The dull coat adds a nice durable clear finish with a flat non-shiny...
Hello, I have a question for you all.
I have a Colt made .22 conversion for my AR15, works good and it's a good way to save high-priced .223. But does anyone know where I can get another mag for it?
I get the runaround when I call Colt:confused: I don't really need another 10 rd mag but the...
Almost any WW2 movie of AA guns firing on a ship. The barrels never recoil but there is a nice looking propane flame at the end of the barrel! Unless you get to see the 'out of the can stock footage' then they'd get it right.
Clint Eastwood movie..either A Fistfull of Dollars or For a few...
For me it would depend on whos shooting at me! If it were some low life gang banger I would prob'ly run as fast and as far as I could. I doubt the accuracy of some crack/meth head GB'er would be all that good beyond parking lot range. :neener:
But! If I was in a situation where someone that...

Hello, bounced in here from survival monkey. I like what I see so far! I'm ex Army [13 yrs as 11b], shoot as often as I can afford it,[ar15/M1A Glock23 and the shottie] and I instruct hunter safety and love to ride my Harley. I work for the mega store on the corner [I won't say...
Well as a first time poster here...I like the fact that I see a thread on WI needing help to get carry legislation passed! :) To bad we have a leftist commie for a governor and he will never pass the bill.:fire:
But I am willing to help in the limited ways that I can.
