    You correct. The dirt and other debris that get into the fibers of the interior of the holster are the problem. A lined holster helps in reducing the problem but there is no way to keep dirt and dust out of a holster. I don't mind wear on a holster it gives the pistol character.

    Ring's Blue guns have the most accurate dimensions. Get the Glock 19, Glock 17, Glock 26 right off the bat. That will allow you to make holsters for the Glock 17/19/22/23/26/27/31/32/33. The 1911 5" and 4.25" are really big sellers for me. I also sell a lot of SIG holsters in this order P229...

    VZ58 model.

    I love the vz.58 series. Milled receiver, bolt hold open. Very handy rifle. You can also change the fixed stock out for a side folding stock on in minutes with just the turn of a bolt versus having a AK taken to a gunsmith to install a proper side folding stock
