the frame is aluminum and i bought it at my local dealer. i saw a few dealers online selling them. all the reveiws i saw on the internet have been positive .
you are correct , the rear lever is a slide lock and a decocker. thats one of the reasons i bought it. plus all the good reviews i found on the internet.
no. nothing other than my wifes ssi and that does not pay all the bills. but with prayers i am sure god will work it out somehow . reading all the post has encouraged me and helped me to think i will try to hold on. i am 58 and could not even get a job at krogers, but thanks to everyone.

thanks guys. my other gun is a taurus 709. you all came up with some good points. what i mint about down hill was the country. i think i will hold it for awhile and if i have to, down size to something cheaper like a hi-point carbine. all the input helped alot.
i am out of work, and down to my last two guns. i have a mini-14 and do you guys think it would be safe to sell it, or try to hold on and keep it just in case things go down hill. :confused:
I need help, i saw a star bm in vg+ condition for 200.00 and thats all i have to put in a gun at this time. I already have some 9mm ammo, question is it a decent gun till i can do better. thanks in advance
