Daggers, Boot Knives & SD Folders

I figured that you'd agree with super magic kung fu dis-arms. I mean, that is all Bujinkan is, anyway. People playing ninja. See ya :)

is the "leatherman wave" any good?????

4 stars here. They seem to do a better heat treat on the stuff that should be heat treated than other multi-tool makers. (except for the gerber that my brother has from the early 90s, that is :) )

Daggers, Boot Knives & SD Folders

I was also under the impression that those bujinkan techniques employed the use of the tanto mune to disarm the opponent.

    Trigger shoe for the 1911?

Ah, I'll just have the pistolsmith decide what to do with the trigger, then. :) Thanks for the info yet again, RC.

    Trigger shoe for the 1911?

I've been saving up to have a new barrel bushin fitted to my 1911, and I thought about having a new, longer trigger installed while I was at it. I came across this thing, though, and I wondered what to think of it...

    590A1 Trigger Assembly Removal

Mine is very tight as well. What I usually do is swing the read of trigger guard out as if the front of the assembly were on a pivot.

    Knoxx and the Hawk 982

Well, I've only been hit once by the Compstock on my 590, and that was the first magazine tube I fired through the gun. As long as you have a good cheek weld on it, it's all good.

    Show us your grips!

Dang, I bet those grips cost more than the gun!

    My Point Shooting Video

Mr. Temkin, I have a question. At 4:17 you seem to be moving in between the assailants. Why not swiftly move in an angular motion to the outside of either assailant, so that both will be in your line of fire simultaneously? Even if you can't get to the outside, it would seem this would...

    Disguisable weapons

LOL, I had a good chuckle from it, and I think it is an appropriate farce that could be used to put things into perspective.

Not really a weapon...my pellet gun

Don't quote me on this, but I think I heard someone say that they had a friend who read that non-detachable suppressors on airguns aren't regulated.

What brand of knife is this??

You can get four for free at Dillards' or JCPenny's when you buy a pair of jeans. :) I should clarify: I don't mean for my joke to seem rude or crass. It is perfectly safe to carry a folding knife in a pocket; the likelihood that it will open and cause injury is next to null.

Objects with self-defense capability for weapons-restricted areas?

Yikes. I mean.. if you're walking home from the store with easy off.. yeah... I guess it's improvised. but otherwise, if you're walking around with it as a defensive tool, you're just maiming the person. (EDIT: of course, if the attack warrants blinding / grave injuries, it is justified...

    Help! Anti-gun Girlfriend.

Exactly, and the brain can be used to great effect to secure that which the heart desires. My current girlfriend lived for the first 6 years of her life in the USSR. Our initial discussion on the USA and guns resulted in my showing her the TX DPS conviction rate statistics on CHL holders, and...
