I tried that sight when i did a quick google search and yes it doesn't work with TDS from what i know they were made between 88 - 95. but that was all i could find.

I have a marlin 39 tds that i picked up, and i'm trying to figure out the date of manufacture. The serial number is on the receiver tang, and reads TDS01220. Any help would be great, if someone knows or knows where to lookup the info. Thanks

Thanks everyone, Yes your right it is a 75 brain fade on my part. I love shooting that old 513 it's alot more accurate then i am with my old eyes. picked it up 20 years ago used and it just grew on me.

Without knowing for sure, just a guess mind you. It looks from the holes not being threaded and the marks on the the frame that it was either to mount something on the pistol itself or mount the pistol to something.
