I have loaded 124gr XTP over 6.4gr of Power Pistol at an OAL of 1.090" with nickle plated Federal +P+ cases. This is definitely +P or +P+ territory and should be approached with care so start around 5.5gr and work up from there. Make sure it works in your gun and watch for pressure signs. It...
DO NOT TAKE THIS AS GOSPEL, OTHERS WILL CHIME IN SOON THAT KNOW FOR SURE..
But I thought the 115gr's were supposed to be at 1.060" OAL from the Hornady manual. I'll check when I get a chance unless someone else chimes in sooner.

No and no, unfortunately. Bullseye is especially more difficult for the novice because in .45 because you could probably throw a triple charge and not readily notice. Best advice, PAY ATTENTION!

I use them too and couldn't be happier. Even when they make an error (which only happened once for me) they make a great effort to make it right. I will continue to order from them for my fmj loads. MBC has my business for lead though due to the customization factor.

I use 231 exclusively for my .45 and 9mm target loads through my auto disk. Meters great, doesn't leak and while not the cleanest load in light charges, it's cleaner than Unique was. It fills the case enough to see any double charges in 9mm because it will spill over. In .45, its hard to see a...
I got one almost a year ago. Since then it has had a different trigger put into, a beavertail grip safety and some minor work on the barrel. It would not reliably feed hollowpoints so I just filed a little off the throating to round it and since then it feeds even resized empties. It's a great...
I don't think in terms of civil unrest or anything like that. I see it as a way to hedge against scarcity of resources no matter what. During the shortage of 2008/2009, I did not once find myself unable to hit the range or getting gouged because I didn't have the 'need' to purchase ammo for such...
Are you using a neck sizer or full length resizing die? It will make a big difference when chambering for different rifles. Neck sizing should only be used when firing the same cases from the same rifle and the plus side to neck sizing is greater accuracy since the case perfectly fits your...
Hello everyone,
For starters, I think this is a great measure and I use it for reloading all of my pistol ammo.
However, I mainly use it with the micro charge bar instead of the discs, since it allows me to change calibers/charges without having to take it apart at all - just turn the...
Here in Virginia Beach, I am not kidding you, but for some reason today it is 70+ degrees. This weather around here is just plain weird sometimes. If I were hypothetically stuck due to this storm, I would get some loading done and work a little bit on the storage in my garage to open up some...
I ended up temporarily putting a maglite solitaire zip-tied to one of the outer rods (so much for staying away from duct tape, right?) and it has worked okay. But I think I am going to find a way to make a centered hole on the turret that threaded to accept some kind of low wattage LED...

I have to ask, but are you telling us that with a cold bore handgun you're more than 60MOA off target? Cold bore can cause a shift of maybe 2MOA at 100 meters, but 60MOA would be a big-time extreme cold...
Your rifle, with that twist, can shoot a broad range of bullets and be able to stabilize them, but your best performance should come from the 62-70gr bullets from what I have seen. Your powder selection will depend on what device and method you want to use for charging your cases and also what...
