they were .38 +Ps (even though the original In The Line of Duty video said 357 Mag they later corrected to say .38s) I don't think the caliber would have made the difference but your original point is valid

some places start the 72 hour clock when you fill out the 4473
I know you're frustrated but I let a very nice Beretta semi-auto shotgun slip out of my hands because of some place doing to me exactly what you are complaining about and me losing my cool...
Good luck,
Bill
I sent back an old S&W 459 and it was trouble free...my only complaint and it is a minor one is that a call to find the status on my pistol work yielded information that did not agree with what was getting done and when it was done...
Sending was not an issue when sent the way requested by them...
PT1911AL...bought it because of the price of admission and I wanted to try a 1911 with an aluminum frame...mine's been 100% for years...picked up two more in stainless...Super .38 and .45ACP...both of them have gone bang every time and are as accurate as they need to be...

check with some of the companies making conversion barrels in the aftermarket...Storm Lake for one (I have one for my GLOCK .40 S&W wanna be 9MM) or Bar-Sto (I have one for my P226 .357 SIG wanna be 9MM)...
Good luck...do some reading 'round here for more information on conversions for precise...
Many report they shoot as well as a P220...they do take the P220 Compact mags and those mags have just a touch longer finger rest for those of us who find the regular P245 finger rest a touch too short...
You can add the P220 Compact finger rests to the P245 mags...
If it fits your hand and you...
usually the guy making the contrary argument needs to back up his story, not tell everyone else to search for it...
you're entitled to your own opinion but without any proof to back up claims that seem to be contrary to opinions others have it's just words and you've contributed nothing...

I've had dealings with Tripp Research, Inc. for years and have always had a positive experience...now if we can just get him to start hard caroming pistols again...:D
Bill
Failure to eject twice in 100 that I figured was ammo related...either the weight or the quality of the cheaper ammunition...however it had worked for me in other full sized 9mm pistols...
