Greatest Gun Movie Ever. Let's Get One Thing Straight Right Here and Now.

NO, no, no! This is not a "favorite gun movie" thread, pikid! :p This is an "acknowledge BHD as the best, and worship it, or admit you don't know what you're talking about" thread! :p :D Shooter is awesome and so is SPR, but they cannot begin to hang with BHD, which is basically one giant...

Greatest Gun Movie Ever. Let's Get One Thing Straight Right Here and Now.

OK, of course there have been lots of threads on best gun movies, and everyone has their own opinions, and 5 or 10 or 15 of the usual suspects are always in pretty much everyone's top 20 list. Shooting USA TV show even did a segment on the top ten gun movies ever, based on a poll from...

    Best All Around Beginner Rifle

Well, two separate questions, rifle and caliber, of course. What you're really asking is "Best All-Around *Centerfire* Chambering". Hard to go wrong with any you have chosen, and your choices are all among the top ones, but I'd put them in this order for what you describe: .243 Win...

    AR10 or HK91

I'm a fan of the modularity and ease of sighting with AR10 style rifles. Mine is a DPMS LR-260L (.260 rem). I'm keepin it for a reason. :)

    Trapping nutrias

I read that the market was pretty strong for their fur a few years back, due to Russian demand**, but has since dramatically fallen off due to their economy or something. **It seems that Russian women deem the 'rat hats' to be a coveted luxury item, or at least used to.

    Most accurate rifled PUMP shotgun?

Awhile back I asked about most accurate in general, but now I want to limit the discussion to just pump action shotguns -- which one(s) of these come with a shortish (under 22") fully-rifled barrel, and are considered to be above-average or excellent in the accuracy department? Thanks very...

    45-70 range

As indicated, it's effective RANGE is a couple thousand yards. It's effective PRACTICAL RANGE depends upon how well you know your holdovers and how well you can range things. But as for a point n click, no holdover, it's range is limited to around 150 yards give or take, for deer sized game.

Need help with putting video of massive hog hunt on this site

Just my opinion: That ain't hunting, so I'd rather not see it on this hunting forum at all, thanks anyway. Driving around like a maniac, shooting indiscriminately from a moving vehicle, and running over hogs ain't ethical and it ain't hunting.

Nikon Team Primos or Bushnell Elite 4200 ??

You know that's a tough call, but I give the edge to the Elite 4200, if for no other reason than the rainguard, which can be useful when hunting in wet weather.

    Woods gun.

Yeah, that right there is probably the best answer to the question asked.

So is taking the described action below LEGAL, ILLEGAL, or UNSURE/UNKNOWN/GRAY AREA?

Does anyone know: Is taking the following action LEGAL, ILLEGAL, or UNSURE/UNKNOWN/GRAY AREA, under federal law? Taking a AR15 *HANDGUN* which of course has the protruding buffer tube; Holding handgun with two hands, one on the P-grip, and one on the front grip; Pulling the handgun toward...

Dry firing rimfires... How do you keep track?

I hear that and assume that it is correct - if so, I wish someone would make a chart of which ones do and which ones don't. I'd LOVE to sit around and dry fire my rimfires, but don't of course. Plastic rimfire snapcaps and/or empty shell casings quickly get destroyed by dry-firing, then then...

Yeah, HSO, where is that from? Yes, like that, but a pump, with a P-grip and buttstock, and a forward-mounted ESD of some sort. KKK..... hhmmm, oops, didn't think of that. OK, then it's the CCC - Crazy Cowboy Carbine.

    Assault rifle poll

Since the anti-gun, anti-freedom forces began purposely setting a trap for us to fall into by making up bogus, demonizing, inaccurate phrases such as "assault weapon", "sniper rifle" (applying to any bolt action OR any semi-auto), etc., etc., etc., in order to win public approval and support for...
