    Recommendation? Single Stack for CCW

Another vote for Kahr 9mm, but I actually prefer the increased heft of the K9. It really helps with recoil and makes it very easy to get back on target, even with some of the hotter +P rounds. The trigger is great, especially for those who came up on revolvers.

Anyone else heard glock is using new slide coating and different polymer

Regarding the extractor, could you be referring to the newer LCI extractors perhaps?

I have three of their all-stainless pistols and find them to be well designed, extremely reliable and very accurate. I think you made a good decision.

What is the most unreliable semi auto you have shot ?

Was there only one issue with yours or did it have multiple problems? I've been looking at the DB and the Micro DE but I really like the feel of the DB.

    xdc in 9mm or 45acp

I have an XD in .45 and I find the recoil to be much softer than the .40 Glock 22. It's very accurate as well and the only drawback at the moment is the cost of .45 ammo relative to either .40 or 9mm.

    J&G Sales has S&W Model 15 and 67

Thanks for the heads up on that, Old Fuff. I just placed an order and I should get it by the end of this week. FWIW, while they note that there are some with pinned barrels available, they are charging $10 extra for those.

Thinking of buying a Springfield XD?

I agree that it would be nice it the XD Gear stuff were optional. I've never used the holster or mag pouch either and I use an Uplula loader so I don't use the loader either. At least Springfield still includes two magazines. Certain manufacturers of pistols which have a considerably higher...

    Tweaked Kimbers....pics!

Wow! Those are gorgeous. I think I would combine the slide from the second pistol on the frame of the first. The grips are especially nice, too.

    Best All-around 357 Frame Size

I have .357's in J, K, and L frames. Best all-around goes to the L frame hands down and I have several K frames that I'm very fond of and carried for many years, the key word being carried. When planning to shoot often and put a lot of rounds downrange, the L frame excels. I personally...

What is the most interesting handgun you own?

Mine would have to be my 1895 Nagant revolver. Very interesting from a mechanical standpoint, especially given the technology available at the time it was designed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagant_M1895
