    Divorce & Guns - Continuation

Thanks for the input, I am a member of the TSRA so that will be my next contact. Have blasted the local paper, tv stations & state representatives thus far.

    Divorce & Guns - Continuation

I brought this touchy subject up a while back and my divorce is now final so I again need advice. I will start with a little background: I am a TX CHL holder, never had a dwi, never had any drug related issues, never been arrested, never been convicted or even accused of child or spousal abuse...

    Divorce & Guns

Thanks for all the input. I have tried the "Olive Branch" and came back with a nub. For example, I offered her 60% of my 401k and she came back with she also wants a check for $10k and 60% of the proceeds of the house and 60% of tax return. I can't say on here what I told my attorney to tell...

    Divorce & Guns

To clarify, I have not broken any laws or been accused of any type of threats or anything of that sort. I am a CHL holder as well which just means I have a clean background.

    Divorce & Guns

I posted back in August that I was subject to a temporary injunction, during the pendency of my divorce, which does not allow me possession of firearms. There was nothing to trigger it other than my wife is scared of guns. Anyway, in the final trial the soon to be ex-wife requested a permanent...

    Divorce and Guns taken away

The total BS thing here is that there is no abuse or accusation of abuse of wife or children. I am a Hunter Safety Certified (even though I am too old for it to be required), and an Eagle Scout, have a 802 credit rating, no late payments on anything currently, a CHL holder in good standing, no...

    Divorce and Guns taken away

Black Knight, that is not a bad idea, my friend is a FDO (Flight Deck Officer) so the LEO holding my guns might be a nice added benefit.

    Divorce and Guns taken away

Lots of great replies here! Rest assured I have already surrendered the guns to my mother's house and have no intention of violating the court order as my children are far too important. The frustrating thing is that I just got my CHL in the mail about a week ago, after a 6 month wait, because...

    Divorce and Guns taken away

I am a Texas CHL holder and an NRA member. I do not have any gun, drug, alcohol or domestic abuse issues, arrests, etc. I am going through an ugly divorce and have a wife that is afraid of guns. Guns were brought up in our Temporary Orders hearing and have been included in the Temporary...

    WWB 9mm 100rd $22 WWB 45acp 100rd $32 WWB 380 100rd $34 Yah I went to Walmart and they actually had 380. They had probably 20 100rd boxes along with 9mm, 40 & 45. I bought 1 box of 380 to have and 5 boxes of 45 so I could finally shoot my new Rock.

    .380 ammo? Anybody finding any?

Was waiting for someone in Hillsboro, TX last week. Happened to see a Wal-Mart sign so I wemt in to check. They happened to have 20 or so boxes (winchester 100rd) of 380, a bunch of 9mm, 40 and 45 (more ammo than I haveseen in a long time, had 357mag, 44mag, 38spcl and more). I recently...

Brought Home My Kahr PM9 (Pics)

I'm a fairly big guy at 6'2" 230lb. The PM9 with a standard 6rd magazine is a much more comfortable shooter to me than the LCP with the mag extension. I was expecting the PM9 to hurt but the grip is just long enough that I can get a good grip. LCP requires a re-grip after each shot at the range.
