Picked up my first M70. It's a 1955 dated receiver, an aftermarket barrel marked "Haig Ace - .243 Cal", aftermarket walnut stock with a mannlicher-style forend, the whole thing topped off with an El Paso Weaver 2.5-7x. I paid $450, I figured it was worth that for the action. It's smooooth. Anyone have any info on the Haig Ace barrel? I haven't shot it yet, if it shoots well I'll leave the barrel alone, clean up the stock and call it good. Thanks in advance,
