Just cast a PILE of these heavies for use in a Super Blackhawk and a Marlin 1894. I've never loaded anyting this heavy. Any favorites? I can't seem to find anything but H110 and W296 loads, Anyone loading these with 2400, or any other powders?

Let me know whats worked (and hasn't) for you, I appreciate any input.

On the Marlin owners forum it has been stated by many posts that the Marlin 1894 44 Mag with the existing twist rate is optimized for the 240gr bullet weight. Supposedly the light bullets suffer the most in accuracy, but the heavy ones are also less accurate at longer ranges.

Accurate Arms lists the loads in the attachment.

If you are not shooting over 100 yards you may be OK. Let us know how it turns out.
