50AE for deer hunting

would that be big enough bullet to use to take down a white tail deer, id be useing it in a rock river ar15 A2 carbine but instead of it beeing a .223 caliber ill either havein made or somehow buy it in 50AE caliber if thats a good caliber to use for deer hunting. would that be a good choice

I think you could purchase a used or low-cost rifle (such as an NEF handi-rifle) for the price of a .50AE upper that would perform much better and in a vastly superior hunting cartridge.

.50AE is overkill for deer but yes it will work. Order an Alexander Arms Beowulf .50 upper and have at it, lol.
