617-1 whats it worth?

I have a 617-1 6 shot with the 8-3/8" full lug barrel that I'm thinking of trading in for a carry gun. My 617 is in 98% to 99% conndition and was just wondering how much that I should be asking for it in sale or trade. I also have the box, papers, and trigger lock that came with the gun. It also has the target hammer (.500") and target trigger (smooth .375").

Any help would b apprecaited.

You'll take a bath if you trade it in at a gunstore. For the revolver you've described, I'd say an FFL would offer you $200 in cash, $250 in trade if you're a good customer. You could probably sell it privately for $350 - 375.

Yes, you will take a beating if you trade it.
Like vanfunk stated, I would also say they may give you 200, 250 if you are lucky on a trade.
I saw one in the paper the other day for 275.00, I just missed getting it.
If you were not so far away from me, I would really be interested in it. I have been looking for one for awhile.
