'73 Browning Challenger.22 Pistol-worth?

    Hi, it's a newbie here - my Dad is giving up his permit and needs to sell. Purchased new in 1973, 1 owner. Any1 know what this pistol is worth? A few small scratches on the handgrip other than that, perfect. Cleaned after every use, of course. Thanks! PJSalerno@aol.com

    Depends on which Challenger model it is: a) standard model, b) renaissance
    model, or c) gold line model~? In the condition you describe, a) would be
    worth $300, and b) would be worth $1,200, while c) would be worth 'bout

    b is engraved with a satin nickel finish, and ONLY 437 were produced.

    c is blue, with a gold line border along the perimeter of the frame and
    ONLY 293 were produced from 1962-1975 by FN.
