Another great day for an all steel shoot at Briar Rabbit About 45 shooters took part, shooting everything from revolvers to pistol caliber carbines. Lunch was ham and cheese sandwitches, pototo salad and watermelon.

Stage1 was 24rds. You started on the left shooting down the little devils as fast as possible then moved to your right to knock over the stop sign shaped plates. Time ended when you hit the small red plate once.

Stage2 was 20rds quick and easy. Just double tap each plate in any order you like BUT once you started on a plate you had to finish before moving on. Shocking to see how many "lost" their place doing reloads. :scrutiny:

Stage3 took 24rds to clean up. Double tap the standing plates at the left, knock down the 12 falling plates and double tap the remaining standing plates. As easy as it looks. :neener:

Stage4 was to be the low round count at 17, yea right. You started on the right by shooting thru the "gong" to knock over 6 plates, then moved right to clear 6 more falling steel before moving again to your right to finish on the Texas star. Care to guess how many got thru this with 17?? :banghead:

Stage5 was 22rds shot from 2 places. 2 to the body then 1 to the head done 3 times then a double tap to the standing plate, move right and repeat. Simple

Stage6 was 24rds at steel bowling pins..well maybe 1/2 pins. A hose'em stage as long as you didn't try to go to fast. :p

Stage7 was another hose'em stage that needed 20rds if you didn't miss. 5 from the first barrel, 10 from the middle and 5 at the far right. A nice way to end the day. :)

They have a 2 gun (shotgun/pistol) shoot coming up on the 24th and they hope to add another pistol match on the 31st. Hope to see some new faces soon.
