Evolution Gun Works (EGW) is one of the most respected parts suppliers out there. I've purchased a number of 1911 parts from them. All high quality, and their customer service is outstanding.

Do a search on the 1911 Forum for reviews on many of their products.

You won't find a better machine/welding shop for firearms or more honest people with whom to do business than EGW.

EGW is EGW no matter where you deal with them, and they are a fantastic company to deal with, you might find another company that is as good but you won't find better.

It seems EGW is really giving a break through ebay, their prices are much higher on the site.

I am torn, I will be doing a new ignition system along with other comforts, but I am torn.

    This one:

    *Hammer-49 rc
    *Sear- 52-54 rc
    *Long Disco
    *Magazine Catch Spring
    *Main Spring-19#
    *FP Spring
    *Plunger Tube Spring
    *Sear Spring
    *Ti Hammer Strut
    *Ti MS Cap

    This one:

*Same as above (except no MS or MS Cap, and the Sear is "lightened")
    *Extractor-47-49 rc
    *O/S FP Stop
    *Firing Pin
    *Pin Set
    *O/S Slide Stop
    *Extra Long Ejector
    *Stake on Plunger tube

Some background. This will be going onto an RIA Gov and I dont know what is MIM and what isnt.
Would I be better off replacing these extra parts now (in the dicounted package) instead of waiting for them to break, or peice it along because the parts are going to wear slowly and at different times?
