I already own a regular SIG 220 and love it. But, I must admit that I am really curious about the stainless model. Particularly how it performs and feels. It is heavier (10 -11 oz.) than the standard SIG and I would assume that the extra weight will make for less recoil. But, those are just assumptions. Who among you THR SIG officianados can give me some enlightenment? Good shooting:)

I absolutely love my 220ST. It is a bit heavier than the traditional 220, but the weight does diminish recoil very well. It is solidly built, and attractively finished. The trigger on my 220st out of the box was much crisper than any other standard 220s. The trigger also broke in well, as most SIG triggers have done in the past.

Recovery shots are quicker as the muzzle rise is dampened in the stainless model.

Also easy to clean, as everything is nice and silver so all the dirt shows up.

The 220ST comes in two different variations. The original had the compensator rail as the frame was surplus 220sport frames. The newer version has a standard Picatinny rail that accepts items such as the M3 tac light. SIGARMS offers an adaptor made of Delrin for the older rail.

You cannot go wrong with the ST!
