Attended the Michigan Antiques Arms Colllectors' show today (Novi, MI).
On the lookout for some decent S&W's and Colts, plus whatever else may have struck my eye. This show usually doesn't have a lot of collectible S&W's but is more geared toward C&R's and antiques.
Right after entering, and on the first row of tables, this beauty reared its head. It was shipped in 1986. The stocks are correct, but no box, etc. It's not pristine. Someone had trouble in the past removing the stocks, and there are some idiot marks beneath the left stock and on the top/left of the back strap. However, they are small, and don't affect the overall looks of the gun.
While the stocks fit my hand, it will get a set of Ahrends Retro Combats for use. Off to the range tomorrow for some muzzle blasting.
