Got enlisted to help my friend Kay locate some wallpaper for her new lake house (!), and while _patiently_ wandering through the store, I stumbled upon...

Woodland Camo Wallpaper!

Guys, the whole "bunker" motif has taken on new meaning...

The only approved wallcovering in my dreamhouse is peg-board. No one will know that its actually peg-board due to the collection of black rifles that will be obscuring the peg-board from view.

Right now, I'm getting ready to build a pair of speakers - I'm SERIOUSLY thinking of laminating wood from ammo or grenade crates on 'em...

Another project in the works is a lamp or three made from large artillery brass.

Sounds like my apt. when I was single, had camo parachute tacked to ceiling & walls,camo poncho liner bedspread,camo curtains etc.


Now that I'm married, I have to convince myself that a floral pattern is sorta like camo...

At the hardware store where I work we sell Mossy oak woodland camo paneling. It's kinda neat.

I'm sticking with woodland pattern, since if I want to, I can actually paint stuff myself that way... My Unca Sam taught me how...

Actually, to do the wallpaper, I'm gonna have to buy a house (I suspect my current landlord would become a bit upset, and I do NOT want him opening the large closet...). I'm going ahead and getting the paper, and when I get the house, I'm going to do a large room in the basement as The Bunker - Widescreen TV, big ol' speakers, and enough gun stuff to make a hollyweird type have seizures... Already working on a few of the things - such as locating the artillery brass for lamps, etc... I'll probably do the walls in camo, the floor in a medium tan carpet (hmmm... camo carpet? Gotta go searching...), and put a parachute on the ceiling.
