    Corrupt Illinois
Got a flyer from Cabelas yesterday. They have the Hi Point 995ts carbine on sale for $209. Cabelas also had an online coupon that was good for $20 off of a purchase of $150 or more, but it expired yesterday. I drove to the Hammond Indiana store this morning, and purchased one, and the coupon even though it said it expired yesterday still worked, so I got it for $208 out the door. With Illinois' stupid gun laws I'll have to wait to go back tomorrow to pick it up.

Looks like it will be a fun little gun. Not crazy about the stock, but for $208, I figure I can't lose. It came with the front folding grip. I don't think I'll put anything else on it, maybe a red dot at some point.

Anyway, if anyone has been considering one, get to Cabelas quickly. The salesman said he only had a few left and sold probably 20 yesterday.

I love my 995TS... but I will not go to Cabelas in my area until they get rid of the "take a number" system... I tolerate that for cold cuts but not for guns and shooting supplies.

    Great gun, have fun!

I'll forgive them for the sole fact that you can walk into the AZ Cabelas at 1pm on a tuesday and be wall to wall customers along the counter waiting to look at guns... And that's a damn long counter on a weekday when evrybody is supposed to be at work.
