Anyone know what bullet Hornady uses for it's TAP ammo. I'd like to load it in .223

It depends on bullet weight, the 40, 55, and 60 grain are v-max, 75 is a BTHP; the 75 grain A-MAX can't be loaded to magazine length.

You would be hard pressed to tell the differance between the Hornady V-Max and Nosler Ballistic-Tip except for the color of the plastic tip.

I buy whichever is cheaper and can tell no differance in accuracy or performance.
