Centerfire lev-action with mag cap >10?

What the title asks. I always end up dead-ended at 10-round capacity tube mags in .357 or .44.

Isn't 10 rounds the max legal capacity in CA?

Lever actions are somewhat immune from the magazine capacity boondoggle, since it's so easy to top off a tubular magazine between shots, without removing your rifle from ready battery. I'm damn well armed with my Marlin lever .44mag. One good thing about lever rifles is their "stealth" mode. Most Americans, even the most vociferous antis, will not lose too much sleep over a lever rifle. It's not an "evil black gun", and afterall, it's the gun John Wayne used to Win the West. Yet you and I know just how much firepower a Marlin or Winchester affords a determined defender. Let's keep it that way! Heh!

Have you tried loading 38 or 44 specials instead of 357s and 44 mags?

My Winchester 94 Legacy holds 12 rounds of .357 magnum. The 45LC and .44mag versions also hold 12 rounds. They are currently out of production, but they are still available.
