I got the stainless CMMG conversion kit and a couple extra mags from CDNN a couple of years ago, and it ran fine in my Colt SP1. I put it away and haven't shot it since, but the other day I thought I'd try it in another AR and see if it worked. It did! No malfunctions and no issues, other than it doesn't extract dud rounds (which was known from the beginning). I believe the newer conversions (the "evolution") do extract live/dummy/dud rounds reliably, so if you're interested, look into that. I didn't think I'd like a .22 AR so much, but they are a lot of fun!

Since the video I also tried the kit in a different Bushmaster with flawless results. I really like this thing.

I have one, and whenever I take it out with the family, we don't bring ANY ammo home. Every few hundred rounds, I do have one casing get stuck in the works and I have to stop and clear to dump it out, but I find when I run better ammo (Minimags, Stingers, Velocitors,) it runs MUCH better.

I am looking to get the new option that holds the bolt open and lets you run the bolt catch.
