Colt Sistema Commander hammer

I want to install a Commander hammer in my Colt Sistema 1927. I tried a Chip McCormick for Colt Series 70 but did not worked. Which one I can get that will work as a drop in without modificatins or fitting? Thank you.

Can't help with which hammer to buy, but I know you might need a Commander grip safety to fit a Commander hammer.

Try emailing Wilson Combat, they're very helpful and should be able to fix you right up.

You will must either bob the hammer so the rowel does not impact the top of the grip safety, or install a Commander model grip safety, or machine a clearance area into the top of the Government model grip safety.
