Does anyone have a SS King Cobra 2.5 snubbie ?

I never see any 2 1/2 inch Stainless Colt King Cobra's. I don't see any Blue ones either, but I don't recall running into any Stainless ones. I've seen a few 2.5 inch Combat Cobras, just none of the 2.5" standard versions.
They were a regular production gun were they not ?
Is everyone hoarding them ?
Does anyone here have one, or is it like finding Bigfoot ?

Heck, the 4" models are tough enough to find, much less any 2 1/2' models. I have personally never seen one.

I guess that's not bad. It's about 1 percent or less of the revolver owner population has seen or owned one.

I've only seen one Blue also. Had to buy it to prove to myself it existed.
By the way Majic, did you buy the Combat Cobra when it was issued ?
Or, was that a more recent purchase ?

I still can't believe only one of us has seen/had one regular production.

I bought the Combat Cobra about 4 years ago from a gentleman who was liquidating his collection as it served as his retirement fund. He was also the one who owned the blue steel 2 1/2" King Cobra that I saw.

King Cobra in 2.5" barrel length?

About six months ago, I saw a NIB, Colt King Cobra(Stainless in 2.5" barrel length)! It was priced at $550, here in California(Believe it or not!)! I waited too long, before I had decided to buy this gun! It was too late, by then(As it was sold)! I really "Goofed" on this one! Now, I know that I had my chance-and, I shall probably never get a second chance to ever see(Or, to buy!)one of these Colt "Snubbies" ever again! I'm still "Sick" over this foolish mistake!
