My neighbor just got back from visiting her father in upstate New York. She came home with an old muzzle loading shotgun. It's an E&G Hackett double barrel. Wrist of the stock is broken and was pinned (now this repair is failing) and it's missing the right side hammer.
I tried to do some on line research, but found nothing. Any ideas on this shotgun? As far as I can tell, it's English made. The only markings I can find are "Laminated London Steel" and "E&G Hackett".
Any insight or ideas are appreciated.
