I bought myself an early Christmas present: A Charter Arms Undercover. I had one about a year ago and wish I had never traded it towards another purchase. I had been carrying a model 60 as one of my CCW guns for a while but was thinking about getting the hammer bobbed on it. I perfer my carry guns to be DAO; plus I didn't want the chance of the hammer snagging.

For some reason, getting the hammer bobbed on it just seemed wrong.

When I walked in my local gun store I saw the Charter Arms Undercover in the case. They had $299 on the tag. I asked if they could do better and mentioned I would also leave it here if I bought it to have the hammer bobbed.

The gunsmith came out and said for me, $239 plus tax and gave me a deal on the hammer bob.

Congrats, a CA 38 is a fantastic way to celebrate John Lennon's birthday. :)
