    Here is the link:

I'd never heard of it until I saw it in a game. Definitely an interesting looking rifle.

"Absehen," to foresee, to lipread? Can't figure out what that has to do with an 8 and an aluminum case. At first I thought it meant "objective," as in "52 mm Objective." Maybe there should be a komma between "52 T* Absehen 8" and "mit Aluminium." Maybe the "8" is a typo for a comma?

Anyhow, what's the doohickey* above the gas tube/cylinder? Looks almost like a microphone. (Not saying it is, just looks like one.)

Do they make it in .223 for prairie rats?

*Imagine a german translator trying to translate "doohickey": "Es beduetet 'a red mark on a doo' mussen." :) (Gawd, I wish my german were less than fifty years old.)

I couldn't figure that out either. Hell, Germans screw up just like everyone else.

That's the rifle that Walther went bankrupt on, and subsequently got bought out. Supposed to be a bullpup semi-auto sniper rifle. The thing above the barrel is, IIRC, an integral bipod. Huge cost of manufacture, not many made, incredibly expensive.

Also, can be seen in one of the Timothy Dalton "Bond" flicks, I forget which one.
