I recently inherited a Gecado 22 pistol with a 3.5 inch barrel. Right side of barrel marked Made in Germany. Left side marked 22l.r. It is a six shot DA. Serial number 87***. Any info would be apperciated.

    Gecado revolver info.

I recently received one of these also. I have the exact pistol you described but in 22 short. My s/n is 37XXX. I also have another that has a 6" barrel on it. It is a 22 LR, but the cylinder does not swing out like the smaller 22 short. Under the handguard of the 6" model is stamped HERBERT SCHMIDT. S/N is 180XXX

The 22 short was owned by my father-in-law who died about 4 years ago. He's probably had it 20 or 30 years if not more.
