Getting a Grip on a Kahr P-9

I need my Kahr P-9 grip to be a lot less slick. Even the aggressive texture on the front and back lets loose under recoil in my hand with a pretty hard grip.

What are my options for getting more grip? I understand I can have it stippled, add a piece of bike innertube, add afternarket slip-on grips from someone or other (Hogue?), apply stick-on stuff from various companies.

Any other options or specific recommendations? Thanks!

I use skateboard tape. It isn't overly abrasive, but does a heck of a job stopping your hands from slipping. The stuff stays put too. If you can't find skateboard tape, try step tape from Home Depot or Lowe's. It is a bit more abrasive on the hands than skateboard tape, but it works nonetheless.

Traction Grips work well but I have not tried them on a Kahr.
Also everyone seems to love their AGrip

The Hogue rubberized slip-on grip works great on the P9/CW9. Fits great without needing to be trimmed.

I am considering a Qwik Grip for my Kahr CM9. I have seen pics and read reviews on Kahrtalk and everyone seems to like them.

I have a qwik grip #2 on my P9, it made all the difference in the world.

I like the Pachmayr slip-on because it doesn't have the palm swell of the Hogue. The finger bump aids in a firm grip as well. It feels very natural in the hand. Only costs about $8 too. I wonder when Kahr is going to produce guns with changable grips?

It looks like you could use the next bigger size.

I like the qwik grip because it doesn't have the finger grooves.

I have thought about removing them from my Glock, but I don't carry it as much now since I got the Kahr, so I might sell it.
