Getting ready for my M1

The two I ordered had spots where they were covered. I did have to take it apart and fully clean the gunk out. It ran well after that and I love the rifles. Mine were both Springfields.

Ooops... sorry; It's a Service Grade. My M1 Carbine was the rack grade. I asked for "best GI wood possible" and I guess they didn't think the GI wood was good enough.

I'm happy with the appearance of the rifle... now if they'll ship it back to me and it works I'll be pleased as punch.

Your rifle looks like one I have seen on the cmp forums. Do you post there also?
