I have a quick question. Is the Pearce +2 extension for the Glock 26 reliable? Does it negatively effect the performance of the gun in any way.

My wife has decided that she want's a 26 for her CCH. She also wants a little more grip. So, I thought the Pearce extension might be a pretty good solution. More grip and more ammo sounds like a winning combo in my book.

Why not just buy the factory +2 mags?

I have never had a problem with them in my G26.

I have that exact extension and it works beautifully. Used it on a few mags for almost 18 months now with absolutely no issues.

I actually have a factory Glock +2 mag for the G26 and I don't like it at all. Tends to pinch my flesh when firing far too often.

Then main reason I'm not buying the extra mags is, I can't really swing another $75 for two mags. With the cost of the gun, a new holster, and testing different defensive loads it isn't exactly easy on the wallet.

Thanks for the feed back guys.

Mags for the G26 can be found much cheaper than that.
I have one G26 mag with the Pearce extension, and it works fine. But, I bought the Glock mag with +2 base, and I prefer it.
I also use standard 10rd mags and have no problem with my medium sized hands.
BTW, I ordered my mags from Botach tactical for $19.99 each. Some have had issues with this dealer, but my order was processed quickly, communication was great, and shipping was fast.

I have seven G26 magazines all with a Pearce +2 base plates. I've fired ~200 rounds from each of the seven and I've had no problems of any kind.

You should easily be able to find Glock magazines in the $20 - $25 range on the internet; two for $75 is being gouged.

Not to thread Hijack or anything. I was about to start a new thread but figured someone here could answer this. Can someone point me in the "right" direction for a good G26 IWB holster???

In my opinion the G-26 is best with factory 10 rounders. If I want something that makes the grip longer and am not worried about CC I use G-19 mags and get +5.

Look on Glock Talk, there is always someone selling mags, some are still in the original factory container. I picked up 2 mags and "2, plus 2", extenders for $25,or so dollars. Also the guy sent me a spacer for the glock 19 mag. You need to look on just about any websight that sells guns and parts. There are millions of guys who sell their gun, and have stuff laying around, like me. I have mags for guns from 30 years ago and more.
Put a WTB, or WTT, ad in your local gun trader, also FL shooters network, always has mags for glocks for sale. I never got a bad mag, although most were new. but the plus 2 I got both worked perfect. Many times a person will trade or sell the gun and forget they have all this extra stuff.
