Along the lines of Mr. Giggity's post - has anyone seen Glock's little 10mm suppressed? A Google search doesn't seem to turn up any threaded barrels for this gun... Is the 29 just an impractical platform for hanging a can on?

(In other words, will I just have to bite the bullet and buy myself a Delta Elite? :D)

Thanks!

I'd say that yes, it's an impractical platform. There aren't a lot of cans that are rated to handle 10mm, and the really short barrels aren't great for hanging a big weight off of.

I have an antique (first gen) AWC Nexus, that I have used on a Colt Delta 10mm. I do not use full 10mm loads, but rather use 200gr XTP's at 900-950fps. The can is heavy, but has a very well designed piston, that can also be locked out for single shot. I do not know if it would get damaged with high pressure, full 10mm loads, but it is a .45 suppressor that works just about as well on the 10mm as it does suppressing .45ACP. Newer .45 cans should work the same way with subsonic 10mm. The only problem I see with your idea is getting a longer M29 barrel. Perhaps Jarvis would make you one, if it isn't currently on his list.

ok my g30 had my aac evo45 on it and my g21 still does (sold the g30). so i put a can on my g20 and guess what, it worked too so if i ever get another g29 i will try it and let you know. try lone wolf for a barrel or jarvis (i have several of both brands for mine) or bar-sto

as long as you dont have a baffle strike i dont see why not. heck i ordered the buffer to use it on my glock 20 and mike there knew what i was using it for (9/16x24 buffer from evo40)

Silvers and Fletcher both stated that they would not warranty an Evo40 that's had 10mm shot through it over on Silencertalk. I'm guessing the same would go for an Evo45.

I say again, you wanna suppress a 10mm, make it subsonic first (i.e. use subsonic 10mm ammo). It will work FINE in a .45 can.

I'm looking into suppressing my g29 also. Bar-Sto makes a 5" barrel for the 29EFK and wolf make +1/2" threaded barrels also. My biggest concern is will it cycle or not. I have a 357 sig conversion barrel that is threaded and with a fake suppressor it cycles fine. Coastal and AAC both told me to use their 40 cal suppressors and it should work fine with 10mm subsonic ammo.
