Glock, broken...

Had a really really really bad day.
Among other things, glock is now unusable.. Great. I though i missed the last target during the ipsc practise but i didnt. At home i found the bullet. In the barrel.
I got it out. Well the most of it actually. In other words, the lead core came out but copper jacket is still in there.

Now what cad i do to get it out?

(I know, i was pretty lucky, and wasnt even wearing decent eye protection, just eyeglasses. Lesson learned...)

To remove, get a hardwood dowel of approproate size and put it down the barrel from the breech. Pound away till the jacket comes out. You can also invert a pulled bullet (so that the flat end is pointing towards the obstruction. Then pound on that bullet to get it through the barrel.

Looks like you are or have been using reloads. Unjacked bullets deposit a lead ring in the barrel of the Glock. This is the most likely problem. I'd take it to a gunsmith and have the lead removed by whatever means and have him look over the pistol to make sure there aren't any other problems like bulges in the barrel.

If you have JUST shot jacketed bullets from factory ammo, I'd suggest you send it to Glock or maybe I'd suggest you had a light load. Whatever the reason, it's probably not Glock's fault. The gun didn't explode.

Stuck

Stand the barrel on end in a vise and pour a generous amount of Kroil
or any good penetrating oil in the barrel. Let it stand overnight and
try to drive it out.

Only one shot away from a Kaboom...lucky devil you are that you still have 10 fingers... Squib loads and lead rings scare the jeepers outa me. Gotta keep the barrel scrubbed clean after every outing. Don't use Reloads in Glocks. It voids the warranty and invites misery.

The advice given above is good. Also, heating the barrel with judicious amounts of local flame will cause metal expansion, allowing for easier dowl poundage. Best of luck.
