Glove Box Carry in South Carolina

In SC you can carry a pistol in the glove box or console without a permit loaded or unloaded.

I'm amazed at how many people I talk to do not know they have this right.

Actually, the last time I was at the gun shop the employees were telling each person who bought a handgun where they could keep it in the car and what to do should an officer pull you over.
