PMC Bronze 55gr fmj and was using surplus mag #2 (I number my mags).

I think I will buy two more boxes of the pmc and use a different mag and see what happens.

Another satisfied Del-Ton Middy A3 customer. :)

Built using a Superior Arms lower. Rear sight is a Leapers fixed. Mag(s) are surplus Grade 2 USGI. Aside from that, everything is stock Del-Ton (literally, if you were to go to the Mid-Length page and without selecting any options hit "Add to Cart," this is what you'd get).

Accuracy is better than me, and only issues were ammo-related (Guat surplus) and mag-related (dented body). Currently feed it PPU and Remington UMC 55gr.

I ordered a Middy kit late last year form Del-Ton. Only issue was a bayo lug slightly out of spec (20 thousands or so over). A little filing, and the bayo slipped on.

Nice folks. Good updates, even when breaking news of a shipping delay.

I'd order from them again.

Best,
John Bear Ross

Here's an update on my del-ton middy kit. The 1st time I took it out all ammo ran fine except wolf. The rim area on the wolf ammo is slightly smaller than my brass case and some barnaul steel case I had. The extractor would slip off the wolf ammo and cause a jam in the ejection port. I put in a stag extractor I had and took the rifle out yesterday. It now eats everything including wolf:). Mark

Well, I looked all over and I think I'm going with m-aparts.com. They have the 20" varminter style that I want as an item, instead of trying do do the custom build on del-ton.com and add all the upgrades which ends up being more expensive.
