I have been there a few times and it was always pretty good. Lots of vendors and shop owners alike....
Weird though, I have been looking for that show to pop back up. I havn't seen it in at least 2 yrs. Maybe its just the MD State Fair websight doesnt want to admit they host a gun show.

misssing shows
I heard about this show when I was asking around about a good muzzle loader to start with and someone mentioned it. I searched for a while and could not find it. i checked nra, and the md sites. finally i found the info at a rifle club, I still have not found the sponsors page........is it a bigger show than the one in frederick a couple of weeks ago? just trying to gauge it......I know ho po'ed my wife is going to be and i need to weigh that against the size and quality of the show.

What are they-------video kiosks or tables with catalogs??
They don't actually have REAL firearms that people can touch , do they??

YES! Touch, foldle, caress.....whatever you are into. And for the right price you can buy some of them and walk out of there with it.

According to the fairground's web site, the one after this weekend's show is on February 10-12 (Fairgrounds Schedule).

I don't know who is sponsoring that show, but don't confuse it with the big MACA show, which is in March.

Went there this morning with a friend. He came back with a Beretta Storm in 40SW (I only bought accessories and a safe, 30 days since my last handgun haven't passed yet...)
There was a fair collection of firearms including several Class III (Tommy, BAR, grease guns). There was also an M16 with 40mm grenade launcher (I wonder how that can be legal in MD unless there is a trick, but it looked the real thing...).

OT question kind of. are magazines with a capacity over 20 legal for sale in maryland, gun show or otherwise? Looking for some 30rd mags for my AK, wondering if the drive out to timonium is worth it or not...

Nope. Can't sell or transfer any magazine over 20 rounds in the state of Maryland. You can possess them though.

got an exact address for Potomac Arms? I mapquested and this is what I got so far:
Merge onto CAPITAL BELTWAY / I-495 S.
Take the VA-241 N / TELEGRAPH RD exit- EXIT 176B- toward ALEXANDRIA.
Keep LEFT at the fork to go on TELEGRAPH RD / VA-241 N.
Merge onto VA-236 E / DUKE ST.
Turn LEFT onto REINEKERS LN.
Turn RIGHT onto PRINCE ST.

Exactly. It's an old 2 (maybe 3?) story building that sits near the water. Should have a sign on it.
They used to have a big torpedo sitting outside; not sure if it's still there or not.

ah, I thought "zero prince street" was the name of the street, albeit a weird one. Makes more sense now.
