I have been looking for a holster for a new 92A1. It looks similar to a 92fs and a Ninety-two, all at the same time. Does anyone have a line on this, in a production holster ? I would hate to go custom.

Thanks,

I've been looking for a nice tactical holster for my 92A1 as well. Lots fit the 92, but when you add the picatinny rail which is the difference between a 92 and a 92A1, it's no go. I found a nylon one that works ok, but I'd really like a tactical like a Blackhawk or something similar.
I did pick up a nice used Hunter leather holster for my Ruger Old Army yesterday though.

Update: FYI. The Falco is 1/2" inadequate in depth. It's going to be returned.

Right now my best solution is from Beretta. They have a leather holster for the ninety-two that fits. Tightly, but it fits. Right now I wrapped the pistol in Glad wrap and left it stuffed in the holster. Trying to form it like you might a baseball to a new glove.

I am hoping DeSantis might have a better one.

The 92A1 is almost identical the the M9A1 used by the USMC except the 92A1 had rounded trigger guard as opposed to the M9A1 squared one. I would look at mil surplus if you are looking for something tactical. If you want leather concealable, I used a Milt Sparks VM2 to carry my M9A1 when I was in the service. Works great...if you don't mind paying for it and waiting!

I've too have been looking for a holster for my 92a1. After reading about others striking out after numerous attempts, I figured it was going to be impossible. Well for giggles I stuck the Beretta in my Blackhawk Serpa for my Springfield XD. It fits slightly tighter than the XD, but locks in like it was made for the 92a1. It releases and draws just fine as well. Part number is 413507BK-R
