For those of you who carry your wheelgun reloads on a speed strip, how do you carry that strip? Do you just toss it in your pocket (if so do the rounds ever come loose)? What do you do?

I've carried them just in the pocket.

The rounds have never "come loose," but I don't like the way the strip floats around in my pocket, and I never know where in my pocket it will end up, or what position.

I suppose its better than an empty pocket.

Simplyrugged.com makes a really solid snap-pouch that will secure your clipped Speed-Strip ammo on your belt.
Some folks use the cordura/velcro pouches that are commonly used on duty belts to hold rubber gloves for frisking funky felons.

Remember too, the premise of still carrying a revolver in this day and age is the notion that 5 shots should be plenty to deal with whatever comes up.
Which I have found to be true in my half-century of travels.

I still occasionally walk around armed to the teeth - just because I can - not because its likely to matter.

Change pocket in my jeans. I've never had a problem with rounds coming loose. I don't practice with the same strip that I carry each day so as to not wear it out.

If I am wearing pants without a change pocket I drop it in next to the pocket holster. Not as good since there is a holster in the way if I need to grab it, but better there than packed under my keys and cell phone in the other pocket.

I carry 5 bullets in a row,six spot left on at the end for a better grip. With jeans on I just use the change pocket. You can find a cheap cell phone holder for your belt that clips on if you look around.

I usually pocket carry in a pair of 5.11's "tactical" pants, those little inside pockets they've got are just the right size to fit a speed strip with the tab coming out of the pocket. They lay nice and flat and don't grind the hollowpoints into your leg.
