Bushmaster 16" A2 carbine with collapsible, plus 3 30-rd mags. Total with tax: $836.

Also got a Gapper (yes, I paid $3 for a piece of rubber. Not having blisters is worth it to me) and an A1 FH (I prefer A1).

First question: How the devil do I get the A2 off?

Second question: Do I need a new washer for the A1?

Next minor purchase: Vert foregrip. Next major purchase: Either an Aimpoint or a 9mm upper, undecided.

Heh. If it's an A2, the handle will only come off with a hacksaw. ;) If it's an A3 w/ detachable handle, there will be two thumbscrews with big knobs you can twist to remove it.

If you plan to change out the upper receiver with an A3 upper, you'll want a book, some specialized tools, etc.

Well, then, given as I don't have a vise, I'll just put that info into the "when I have money again" pile, as well as the new flashhider. But thanks.

Also, who sells a good vertical foregrip (MP5K style, not A2 grip style) and rail panel? For the foregrip, I don't want one that holds batteries or anything, just a simple vert grip.

If I get a 9mm upper, I know I need to use a 9mm hammer, but will the 9mm hammer work with the 5.56 upper? Do I need to replace the hammer for a .45 upper?
