Well I own it but I don't have it in my possession yet. There's a 10 day waiting period...California and all that. :banghead:

I've got a Savage in the same caliber... Hope you enjoy your rifle as much as I do mine!

That .204 is a real barn-burner. Do you reload? If not, this is a real good time to start!

I don't reload but I'm very interested now. Do you have any experience with those varmint grenades?

Well, today is the day! I'll post pictures later this afternoon when I get home with the newest addition to my family.

    Looking forward to it.

.204 Ruger in an accurate rifle is an engraved invitation to become a reloading nut.:) One hole at 100 yards is probably possible, with enough work. Detail-oriented personality is a plus.:)

    Where do you shoot?

I'm already getting interested in reloading and I haven't even shot the thing yet. I shoot in Jacumba mostly. Sometimes I go to project 2000 near Jamul. Your pseudonym seems familiar, have I ever met you in Jacumba before? I would have been with my brother who's name on these boards is Dasmi.

I'd like a report with factory ammo and what you think of the factory scope assuming that is a combo with SF Nikko-stirling??? scope.

Yessir it is indeed the scope package. The ammo I'll be using is the Hornady 32 grain V-max. Now, this is my first time shooting seriously with anything other than my $74 Mosin Nagant and my ultra cheap czech silver tip ammunition so whatever results I get may not accurately reflect upon the ammunition. I've also never sighted in a scope and this one didn't come pre-mounted so we'll see how it goes. I may have to buy some more ammunition.

I'm new to this. Go easy on me haha

Go YOU! Is this your Varmint Rifle? Are there any Varmints in CA aside from the politicians?

There are plenty of coyotes and rabbits. Although we DO have an over population of politicians. They're a protected species.
