Improving Standard AR trigger pull technique

It can produce a negligent discharge. I mean it in the way when the safety goes off, the rifle may fire without the consent of the shooter. Slight possibility depending on the pressure on the trigger.

I thought this was the intended purpose?

The problem here is a usage of the safety that is not the intended usage of it.

I would imagine most of us are guilty of this in the sense that all the gizmos and gadgets we put on our rifles are for battlefield use.

Just think out of all the things to make a big deal out of, this would be on the lower end of the spectrum.
 
big bad bob, you say you have built and used ars professionally. in what capacity, exactly? where/when/how did you pick up the habit of pre-loading the trigger before flicking off the safety?

just curious.
