IOR scope

I don't have experience with the scope you are looking at but I do have experience with an IOR 1.1X4X26. It is a strong and well built scope with great optics but one vexing problem, parallax and lots of it. When I first got this scope it was on a .223 rifle and I didn' notice any problems. I was hitting plates at 200yds and claybirds at 50 yds. Then I put it on a .308 rifle. very soon I had problems, bad groups that made no sense. Someone checked it out for me and parallax was the culprit. If I moved my head about 1/4 inch the aiming dot would move around 6 inches on a 100yd target. Now I don't know if I never noticed it before because I was making a good consistant cheek weld enough of the time, or if something is recently gone out of wack with the scope.

So I would advise checking deep into this scope on parallax issues.
