Gentlemen, I am very new to the High Road and have really gotten into the black rifle club. My questiion is this. I just bought a complete Rock River upper via an advertisment in a magazine( a dealer not Rock River Arms). When i received it, there are no markings touting the Rock River brand name.It is stamped 5.56 and has a 1/9 twist. How can one know if it's the real deal or some crap? Thanks for the great insight on sport shooting!

The people that make the uppers for rock river also make them for several other brands. One way to tell if it is made by the same place that rock river gets theirs is if there is a wierd semi triangle thing up by the right hand side of the receiver by the rail or carry handle.
Thank you for the welcome! My upper does have little thingy on it so I guess I'm good to go! This is my third rifle and can't believe what fun im having! I've been a hand gun man most of my life until recently introduced to the black rifles and the AK by a Marine friend of mine and now I have the fever.Thanks again for all your help.
