Knife Rights?

Good info. My work regularly takes me to Manhattan, and I have to make sure my trusty pocket knife is not clipped to my bag or to my pocket. It seems as though nearly any knife that can be opened by one hand can be classified as a gravity knife. I am happy to learn that there is a lawsuit against the City for their unconstitutionally vague knife law. Hopefully this case fares better than the gun related cases.
 
The City's attempt to get it thrown out failed so it is another step closer to a court date. KR can use all the financial help they can get since they're paying for a full time attorney to push this and they have another supporting it as well as lobbying across the country. In addition, Doug's wife's has been very ill while He's been moving forward.

What court is this case going to? And what hope is there in any judiciary where the judges are appointed by the same politicians who imposed unconstitutional law in the first place?

Just a bit of interesting info about knives. In the UK you are I believe 3x more likely to be the victim of a knife attack than a gun attack in the US. And now I just find out in this thread most knives are illegal in NY. I guess the police keeps everybody safe. That's why NY crime rate is so low right?
 
Let's stay focused on KR and on the lawsuits they've brought or the legislative activities they're engaged in unless we're looking at equivalents by other organizations like ATKI.
 
Yes, Jenn Coffey was the elected official that worked with Knife Rights to get the legislation in place. KR's attorney lobbyist worked with Jenn to get the restrictions/prohibitions on knives removed. NH Liberty Alliance played a valuable role in helping to make this change.

I had the great pleasure to chat with her at Blade at the KR breakfast and in the KR booth last year.
