Locked and Cocked Forever?

    I Keep a Kimber Custom II locked and cocked ALL of the time. I mean if the hammer isn't falling it is in the locked and cocked possition. Will this weaken any springs or have any ill effects at all.

    No, unless Kimber screwed the pooch and used materials subject to "creep" under the loads involved.

    nah ,keep it dry and in a 100 years come back and fire. Round my be dud but hammer will fall
