I glommed a Lyman 8x Junior Targetspot to use on a faux 1903A1 sniper rifle.

How do the Lyman scopes and mounts stack up against the Unertl, Fecker or Litschert?

Those mounts will take any of the target scope external mounts you named. The Junior Targetspot has a 3/4" tube and kinda a small objective so is not very "bright". I have one o a .22 hornet and it works well in sunny pastures.:D
The others named are brighter as is (a little)the full sized Targetspot.Still a fun nostalgia rig!

The CMP has restricted the scopes for the vintage match to 8X and the low power scopes are hard to find now and expensive when you can. I felt lucky to get this.
