I wrote to my local state reps and state sentator.... all three dems.

Only one replied and she said she was voting for the emergency bill.

There is a TV station that publishes the names and partial addresses of concealed permit holders in Wake county, NC. At first there was a big stink about the list. Several advertisers quit doing business with WRAL. Then the talk died down and the list does remain. But how many people are web savvy enough to even find the list at this point? It appears that if gun owners don't respond to stupid it just goes away.

Yeah, when I spoke with Tuttle and he indicated HE would vote for this I knew it would pass as he is as liberal as they come!

Well the NY paper that published the list in their county resulted in Prison Guards getting threatening calls made to their families at their private residences.

Interesting to think that a prison guard might actually think he could benefit from a CCW permit. Maybe a little too much exposure to the "real world" ;)

Just had David Trahan from the sportsman alliance of Maine at our club meeting and pretty much every one of the 50+ members in attendance joined SAM to help with the fight.

David said it best... "In politics when you get a victory, you do not sit back and enjoy it you turn up the heat and go for more!!" And that is precisely what our opposition does. We need to fight, fight, fight!

Politics is about one thing... Numbers... If we have more numbers on our side then we will win.

Makes you wonder if his name is on the list. Would be a bit hypocritical of the average liberal.

He said he does not have a CCW, but is not against them and does not see any reason why the information would be released.

Found out tonight that two other unnamed request came through at the same time. We can breath for a while. Also found out that no bills will be voted on until sometime in April so we need to keep at it!!!!!!
