We have a trip the end of the month to visit family that retired in NW AR. We will be driving along I-44 through MO, St Louis to past Springfield. I'm not in high need of anything but does one have any info on gunshops worth a visit along the way? I don't do Bass Pro much these days but does the Springfield one have much to offer in powder, primers, & brass & such? I usually take care of things with mail order but with all the shooters in MO there must be some fine shops around. Thanks

We will be in the Bella Vista area but will move around some. I'll be checking out the shop mentioned below if I'm able.

If your realitives are in NW Ark, would you by chance be going to Fayetteville? There are several good ones there. Just look in the phone book. IMO Ozark Sportmans Supply in Tontitown (just outside Fayetteville) is the best one. http://www.ozarksportsman.com/ They have a 800 number also. The last time I was at Bass Pro in Springfield, MO several years ago they didn't have much.

Graf and son off of 5th st in st. charles just off of hwy 70. Best reloading shop in the area to hit. good stock of powder and primers though large pistol are a little thin right now. There are other shops but that is the best stop for reloading. There is also the cabelas a few miles away that carries a lot of reloading stuff. There are also some gun shops in the st. charles area if you are interested

One of my favorite places to order from is Arms & Ammo. They are in Ash Grove.

And a trip to Missouri wouldn't be complete without a stop at our favorite bullet supplier.

There is an interesting little shop in Nixa Mo. call Nixa Country Gun and Pawn, some of the best benchrest shooters, around Owner was 16th Nationally last @ 600 yds. Not a huge amount of reloading stuff but enough. good advice about Graf and Sons by the way.

Thanks, I'll look where these shops are and maybe pick up a little something. I may try to swing through FT Leonard Wood also If they they will let us on base. I'll wait on the powder until after that. I went through there in 1981/82 & wanted to take a peek.

There is also the Sierra factory in Sedalia missouri. A little out of the way but it would be a cool side trip to do the factory tour.
